Highfields Farm is a listed timber framed house, set in a quite location in open countryside
The Farmhouse is part of an 800 acre working farm, with stables in the main yard, and private track running through the surrounding area, for plenty of peaceful walks.
We are central to Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town. Maldon and Burnham-on-Crouch, with Constable and Lovejoy country on the doorstep. There is easy access to the A12, Felixstowe, Harwich and all three London Airports. Central for Hyde Hall, Layer Marney Tower, Beth Chatto's Gardens and Marks Hall Arboretum.

Highfields Farm is a listed farm house with all the characteristic of an old building. The house has a step to enter into the cottage. The ground floor room has stairs up to the bathroom. The other two bed rooms are up steep narrow cottage stairs. The lounge is on the ground floor but has two steps from there, into the dining room. We will offer to help with bags into the bedrooms. The parking area is next to the house. We regret that we are unable to take credit cards. Children welcome from any age.
