The meeting rooms at Spains Hall are situated within the Stables complex and Spains Hall.
The Stables complex is equipped with WiFi, wireless PA system, underfloor heating and air conditioning. Audio-visual presentation facilities are available on request. The Main Hall can seat 180, theatre style, and up 200 for a reception. The Coach House can seat 70 theatre style and 100 for a reception. The converted Loose Boxes are suitable for smaller, informal receptions and satellite meetings during events. The whole complex is
available for hire or by individual room.
Within Spains Hall, all meeting rooms are equipped with audio-visual presentation facilities and WiFi. The Elizabethan Hall has a wireless PA system and underfloor
heating. This impressive room can seat 120. The panelled Drawing Room can seat 50. It has direct access to the Elizabethan Hall as well as the gardens. The Georgian Dining Room can seat 30 and is particularly suited to smaller, formal meetings.
There are two separate Cottages available for day or overnight hire, both for meeting and for accommodation. These can provide relaxed, private space for you and your team at extremely reasonable rates.
The rooms are available for day or evening meetings and events. We offer a totally flexible catering service which can be tailored to meet your requirements, as well as a full bar facility.
There is ample parking on site, as well as some accommodation. We also have a list of recommended local B&Bs, Inns and Hotels.

From M11 Stansted Take Junction 8A (Stansted Airport) on M11 A120(E) towards Stansted Airport and Colchester. Follow the A120 past Stansted Airport. Take next off A120 (B1256) Gt. Dunmow. Follow road to Gt. Dunmow.
At edge of Gt. Dunmow (with Tescos on the left hand side), go straight over the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the first left into Gt. Dunmow. At the next mini-roundabout take a left turn onto B184 (Thaxted) along Rosemary Lane.
At the bottom of the hill take left at the mini-rounabout (B184) Thaxted. First right onto B1057 Gt. Bardfield and Finchingfield. Follow the road to Gt. Bardfield (6 miles). Into Gt. Bardfield follow on to T junction. Take left turn signposted Finchingfield. Follow this road for two miles into Finchingfield.
In Finchingfield, go over the bridge and immediately turn left. Take the next road on the left. Follow road out of the village for approx. one mile. The Main Entrance is on the right hand side.
From Braintree Take the A120 towards Stansted Airport. Exit on B1417 (Felsted). Follow signs to ‘Blake House Craft Centre’ on B1256 (Stebbing) turning right at Pub (The Palm Trees) to Gt. Bardfield and Finchingfield.
Continue past ‘Blake House Craft Centre’ through Gt. Saling and into Gt. Bardfield. Turn right in the centre of Gt. Bardfield to Finchingfield. Follow this road for two miles into Finchingfield.
In Finchingfield, go over the bridge and immediately turn left. Take the next road on the left. Follow road out of the village for approx. one mile. The Main Entrance is on the right hand side.
From Saffron Walden Take the B1053 signposted Haverhill. Pass through the village of Radwinter. Turn right at the Plough Pub continuing on the B1053 to Gt. Sampford.
In Gt. Sampford, take the left turn opposite the Church and follow into Finchingfield.
In Finchingfield, go over the bridge and immediately turn left. Take the next road on the left. Follow road out of the village for approx. one mile. The Main Entrance is on the right hand side.

Spains Hall Estate offers a range of flexible meeting rooms which vary in size and style. Available
individually or in conjunction with one another, they are all extremely well-equipped.
The Stables complex, while still retaining many interesting original features is very much of the 21st
century. It has audio-visual presentation facilities, WiFi, wireless PA and intelligent lighting systems.
The public rooms within Spains Hall are all historically impressive, which can add another dimension to your
meeting. Equally well-equipped, the Elizabethan Hall, the Drawing Room and the Dining Room are all
available for meetings and events.
A full catering and drinks service can be provided with a wide variety of menus. While situated in
picturesque, north west Essex, the Estate is located within easy reach of Cambridge, Stansted Airport, the
M11 and A12.
