Things to consider when choosing your venue
What is your budget?
How many people will be attending?
Research the venue - how are delegates going to get there, when and how?
Is the room layout flexible?
Does the venue have break-out rooms if required?
You may need to request room dimensions
Is there parking on-site? If not, where are the nearest car parks?
Does the venue cater for disabled visitors? Are all areas of the venue accessible?
Do you need AV equipment? If so, does the venue provide this?
If technical set-up is required, what is the power access?
Catering requirements - does the venue cater for special dietary needs?
Do you need accommodation?
Will you have a designated co-ordinator prior to, and on the day of the event?
Gathering as much information as possible at the planning stage, will ensure a successful and stress free event. It is recommended that you have a site view prior to final confirmation and booking of your chosen venue.
