Who we are
Visit Essex for Business is the business arm of Visit Essex, the official organisation working in partnership with the private and public sectors to promote Essex venues for conferences, meetings and events.

Essex venues are suitable for small meetings and conferences up to 2,500 at the Crowne Plaza Colchester Five Lakes Resort - our largest conference venue in the county. Boasting wonderful countryside, the longest coastline in the UK, towns (and City!) plus picturesque villages, this unique and diverse county provides a fantastic setting for any event, and if you're looking for something a bit different we can help. How about a meeting for up to 30 on a Thames Sailing Barge, team building and accommodation on Osea Island (an idyllic island in the Blackwater Estuary), or a conference at Layer Marney Tower, the tallest Tudor gatehouse in the UK? And if you're "eco friendly" then The Pod at the CEME Centre is a must.
